Classes at Stony Brook Southampton and School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences in Shinnecock Hills are canceled on Monday.
According to a notice on Stony Brook University's website, the decision came, "Due to the ongoing regional snow removal efforts and the impacts to mass transit and roadways servicing our campuses."
The closing also applies to Stony Brook's main campus, as well as the university's Manhattan campus. The closing includes the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Health Technology & Management, School of Social Welfare, and the Dental School.
