Southampton Schools Consider Offering Adult Ed Classes Again

Survey asks community members what classes they would like to take, and what classes they could possibly teach.

Southampton School District is weighing whether it should once again offer adult education and adult ed classes for members of the community, and the district is asking for feedback through a quick online survey.

The survey measures interest in a variety of subjects, some which are hobby-oriented, such as crochet, ballroom dancing and gardening, and others that are career-oriented, like classes in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office.

In addition to trying to get an idea of how many students the classes may attract, the district is also hoping to find community members with expertise willing to teach certain subjects.
