Southampton 3rd-graders Visit Town Hall
Elementary students meet local officials as part of Plastic Bag Challenge.
Southampton Elementary School teacher Colleen Henke's third-grade class visited Southampton Town Hall this week as part of their participation in the town's “A Greener Southampton – Plastic Bag Challenge,” an effort to reduce the number of plastic shopping bags that are used by consumers and to recycle the rest.
The students met with Councilwoman Christine Scalera and Councilwoman Chris Nuzzi.
