PHOTOS: Day Care Dedicates Playground
Philanthropy enables Southampton Day Care Center to install a new playground.
Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley and Town Board members Chris Nuzzi and Christine Scalera on Saturday joined the children of on David Whites Lane in the village for the dedication of a new playground.
Funds for the playground were raised through private donations starting in the fall of 2010, and the playground was installed in the summer of 2011, according to Southampton Day Care Center Board President Bob Kandell.
