PHOTOS: Local Students Show Works at the Parrish

Parrish Art Museum host student-artists exhibition.

The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill opened its annual exhibition of local student art on Saturday. The School Art Festival is composed of works from both public and private schools in the area and is on view from through March 3.

Southampton High School, Westhampton Beach High School, Hayground School and more participated.

The exhibition is designed to both showcase young student-artists and to inspire future artists.

Saturday's opening was for pre-K through eight grade students and guests. A second opening, for high school students and guests, will be Feb. 9 frm 4 to 6 p.m. For more information, call 631-283-2118 x130.
