Lady Whalers Head to State Semifinal

Girls varsity softball team secures spot in championship with two wins Tuesday, according to The Sag Harbor Express.

Two victories on Tuesday in Nanuet have catapulted the Lady Whalers to the Class C state softball championship, reports.

The / girls crushed the East Rockaway Rocks 9-1, followed by a 4-1 win over the Tuxedo Tornadoes, according to The Express. Watch highlights of the Pierson/Bridgehampton-Tuxedo game at msgvarsity.com.

On Saturday, the Lady Whalers will face the Greenwich Witches, who earned their spot in the semifinals with a 6-1 victory Wednesday over Ticonderoga, according to poststar.com. The semifinal game starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Adirondack Sports Complex in Queensbury. The title game will follow at 4:30 p.m.
