In Bridgehampton, 3 Incumbents, 1 Challenger Compete for School Board

$10.7 million budget also on ballot.

On Tuesday, Bridgehampton School District voters will decide who gets to fill three contested School Board seats.

There are three incumbents on the ballot, real estate agent Ronald White, Bridgehampton Community House President Lillian Tyree-Johnson and Hampton Tennis Company owner Douglas DeGroot, and one challenger, real estate agent and self-described stay-at-home mom Gabriela Braia, reports.

Voters will also decide on a $10,696,364 budget, representing a 1.1 percent spending increase, and a 5.9 percent increase in the tax levy. The levy falls within New York State's new tax cap, according to The Express. Learn more about the budget proposal at sagharboronline.com.
