Kids will use iMovie® to combine original footage and still pictures from iPhoto® then finish off their masterpiece with an original song using GarageBand®. This is a fun-filled learning opportunity allowing kids to explore their creativity while learning some valued technical skills.

Monday-Friday, August 6-10 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
Five-day course, two hours each day.
Prerequisites:
Basic Mac® computer skills
Laptop with iMovie®, iPhoto® and GarageBand® installed.*
Students may bring personal, prerecorded footage to use in the class. Opportunities for filming original footage and stock footage will be provided. Instructor will send additional instructions after registration.
* Please notify GeekHampton in advance if a laptop or software is needed. We can provide laptops on loan on a limited basis.

Heidi Wilson has been teaching for more than 15 years and has a Masters in Educational Technology and an undergraduate degree in elementary education. With a background in theater, a love of all things Apple, and an enthusiasm for working with children, her upbeat and patient approach will make this class a blast!
