HARVEST Wine Salon: "Pen and Palate: Wine and Food Writers from Long Island"

The second-annual HARVEST: Wine Auction and Celebration of Long Island’s East End, presented by FOOD & WINE, has scheduled the following Wine Salon on Saturday, September 17.  The Salons offer a behind-the-scenes look at viticulture and vinification on Long Island with some of the industry’s leading experts.  

Pen and Palate: Wine and Food Writers from Long Island

What does it take to be a wine and/or food writer? How do they find the words to describe the flavors they encounter? What is their benchmark for a successful glass or meal? Join this panel discussion of bloggers, magazine writers, radio commentators, and learn what informs their craft.
