Breaking the Silence: What Everyone Needs to Know About Dating and Domestic Violence in Our Community

The League of Women Voters will host a discussion for people who want to know more about The Retreat and how it helps to combat domestic violence.

Helen Atkinson-Barnes, the Retreat’s Educator, Minerva Perez, the shelter director, Thalia Olaya, a Retreat teen leader will sit on the panel. Short videos illustrating the issues will also be shown. Local police chiefs from East Hampton, Southampton Town, and Sag Harbor Village will also attend.

Refreshments will be served at the beginning of the program.
