Would You Like to See Bay Street Theatre Relocate to Southampton Village?
Through the link provided in the blog, you can send a message to the Board of Directors of the Bay Street Theater inviting them to build a new and affordable theater in Southampton Village.
For those people who are passionate about providing an affordable home for the , I created a petition for you to sign called: Help Bring Bay Street Theatre to The Parrish on Jobs Lane.
Background: Southampton Village has offered an affordable alternative for Bay Street Theatre in a beautiful historic home in the Samuel L. Parrish building on Jobs Lane. I started this petition because I care deeply about the future of Bay Street and live theater on the East End and because I believe this is a very important issue for us all. I’ve put it on my blog because I felt many people feel the same way as I do and would be willing to sign onto a petition (below, which will be sent to the Board of Directors of the Bay Street Theatre.
Objective: I’m trying to collect 1,000 signature, and I could really use your help. Like the residents of Sag Harbor Village, we hope that Bay Street finds a solution to the financial challenges that lie just ahead. And again, like Sag Harbor residents, we’d hate to see them leave Sag Harbor if that is their dream and their destiny. But we also want to let their Board of Directors know that we’re here with open arms and that we welcome them to our beautiful village and facility on Jobs Lane if they believe it is as well suited to their future as we do.
