Question of the Day: Do You Support Same-Sex Marriage?
A state vote is expected before the end of the week.

State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele Jr., I-Sag Harbor, has voted to legalize same-sex marriage in the past, even when he was a member of the Republican Party.
A spokesman for state Sen. Kenneth P. LaValle, R-Port Jefferson, said the senator believes marriage is between a man and a woman but he supports civil unions and equal rights for gays.
