Polls Open at 6 p.m. in Bridgehampton Race
Bruce Dombkowski and Ray Topping Jr. compete in Bridgehampton Fire District election.
Registered voters in the Bridgehampton Fire District, which serves Bridgehampton, Sagaponack and parts of Water Mill and Wainscott, can cast ballots between 6 and 9 p.m. Tuesday at the on School Street in a contested race for fire district commissioner.
, who sat on the five-member fire district board of commissioners from 1997 to 2007, is seeking to join the board once again, while is looking to follow in his father and grandfather's footsteps and become a third-generation commissioner.
They are competing to fill the seat being vacated by Clifford Foster, a long-time commissioner who is not seeking re-election. The term of office is for five years.

Also on the ballot is the treasurer position. Longtime treasurer Charles Butler, who is also the appointed secretary, is seeking re-election.
