Noyac Road Traffic Calming Plans Under Fire

The Noyac Civic Association tells Southampton Town to go back to the drawing board, according to The Sag Harbor Express.

At a Noyac Civic Association meeting March 28, residents of the hamlet dug into a proposal to mitigate traffic on Noyac Road near , reports.

Southampton Town Supervisor attended the meeting at the , where, of 28 speakers, all but one were "adamently opposed" to the propopal, which includes a concrete median and blocking access to Bay Road from Noyac Road, according to The Express.

Many speakers said they prefered a simpler approach, with speed bumps and stop sign, the report states.
