Southampton Town Highway Superintendent Alex Gregor has scheduled an informational public meeting for this week to discuss plans for improvements to a bridge on Bridge Lane in Sagaponack.
The meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, at the Bridgehampton Community Center on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike at 6:30 p.m., will cover the proposal for the bridge that connects Sagaponack to Bridgehampton.
The improvements include replacement of a seawall, drainage, repaving, traffic safety, erosion and sediment control measures.
"All residents are encouraged to attend and comment on the improvements that are proposed as it may effect the current nature of the area," according to a notice on the Sagaponack Village website.
