Antique Fire Truck Show & Volunteer Fireman Recruiting Day

Southampton Fire Department Antique Truck Committee is dusting off their finest historic fire trucks to be shown on the grounds of the Rogers Mansion.  One of the many trucks on display is celebrating its 100th birthday.  The City Service Ladder Truck was made in 1912 by American LaFrance in Elmira, New York.  Volunteer fireman and their supporters will be offering hot dogs, sodas and T-shirts.  Historic firefighting equipment will be on display and include many of the twin forks historic fire trucks.  The Rogers Mansion Museum Complex will also be open free of charge that day.  Come visit the 12 historic buildings on the Complex which were recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a unique property.  All are welcome to see this once-in-a-lifetime, outdoor display of Southampton's legendary firefighting equipment.
