Elections 2011: Bill Pell, Incumbent Trustee

Bill Pell is would like an opportunity to finish work he has started.

Bill Pell, an incumbent is looking to be reelected to the Southampton Trustee Board. Pell, 51, from Tuckahoe grew up working and running a family seafood business.  He also operated his own fishing dock and marina from 1980 to 2000 and grew oysters for ten years.

Currently, Pell, whose name will appear on the Independance, Conservative, Democrat and Working Families lines, has a property management business. When he isn't working he is fishing, or walking his dog on the beach.

He is a member of the Southampton Fire Department, and sits on the stewardship committee of the Peconic Land Trust. He has also served on the Long Island Farm Bureau.

Pell in his own words:

I enjoy helping the environment and I think we should work to salvage what is left for the future of the town people and the kids. I enjoy my job and find it challenging.  I would like to continue to serve to work on projects including road run-off, sewers, beach access and the Cold Spring Park Preserve education Center, which is being funded through donations.
