Williston Park Fatal Hit-and-Run Suspect Out on Bail

Raymond F. Kalenka’s next court date is in October.

The with the accident that claimed the life of manager is out on bail.

Raymond F. Kalenka posted $25,000 in cash on in a pre-arraignment deposition at the on August 15.

Kalenka also made an appearance on August 17 before Judge Scott Fairgrieve where the bail and case was continued.

According to Nassau County Police, LaLima, 41, of Albertson, was found lying in the street on August 12 at about 4:10 a.m. at the intersection of Syracuse Street and Broad Street in Williston Park after being struck by an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on Broad Street.

LaLima, the long-time manager , was pronounced deceased by a Nassau County Ambulance Advanced Medical Technician at 4:20 a.m.

Kalenka is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with death. His next court date is October 18 at First District Court in Hempstead.

Kalenka is due back in court on Tuesday, April 30 for pre-trial hearings. April 30 was a long time ago. Guess Mr.LaLima didn'treally exist. Sems like there is no justice any more.
