Village Police Log: Teens Caught With Beer, Pot, Fake IDs

Fake IDs
• A 16-year-old girl from East Hampton was arrested Jan. 27 at 12:07 a.m. and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the third degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Police said they observed a vehicle stop on North Sea Road and place an empty beer can in the road. After stopping the vehicle, an officer found four 16-year-olds from East Hampton with a case of beer in the vehicle and some marijuana, police said. Two of the 16-year-olds had fake IDs, police said. All were processed and released to their parents; two posted $100 bail.

Driving While Intoxicated Charge Following Jobs Lane Accident
• Maribel Keiry Arias-Santos, 26, of Hampton Bays, was arrested Jan. 29 at 5:21 a.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they responded to a car accident on Jobs Lane and found a 2002 Honda resting against a tree with Arias-Santos behind the wheel with her seatbelt on. Upon further investigation, Arias-Santos was charged with DWI, police said. She was processed and held for morning arraignment.
