Village Police Log: Man Smoking 'Blunt' Charged With Criminal Pot Possession

Marijuana

• Junade I. Hassan, 34, of Brooklyn, was arrested July 29 at 2 a.m and charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Police said they observed Hassan smoking a “blunt” while seated in a vehicle on Little Plains Road. Officers also confiscated a quantity of marijuana from the vehicle, according to police. In addition, Hassan had an active warrant out of North Carolina, police said.

• Sebastian Wagner-Londono, 23, of Hampton Bays, was arrested July 29 at 3:36 a.m. and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they stopped Wagner-Londono while driving a 2006 Land Rover westbound on Jobs Lane for multiple vehicle and traffic violations. Upon further investigation, he was arrested, processed and held for morning arraignment, police said. His vehicle was seized under the Suffolk County Vehicle Seizure Law, according to police.

• Tahyasha C. Brown, 21, of the Bronx, was arrested July 29 at 2:49 a.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they stopped Brown for driving a 2001 Dodge westbound on County Road 39 without any headlights. Upon further investigation, she was arrested, processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.

Petty Larceny

• Raza Kahn, 51, of Southampton, was arrested July 26 at 8:44 p.m. and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. Police said officers were called to the Rite Aid store on a complaint of a larceny. When they arrived, they placed Kahn, an employee, under arrest for stealing $200 from a cash register, according to police.
