Village Police Log: Man Had Forged Social Security Card

The following information was supplied by the Southampton Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

arrest reports for the week of Aug. 2 to Aug. 9:

Possession of a Forged Social Security Card

Cleto R. Medrano, 42, of Southampton was arrested Monday at 4:07 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a felony. Police said he was found to be in possession of a fake Social Security card, and they later discovered he had an outstanding warrant from the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He was remanded to Suffolk County Jail in Riverside and turned over to ICE agents.

Bail Jumping

Sumayyah Reddick, 36, of Mastic was arrested Friday at 9:54 a.m. on an outstanding Southampton Village Justice Court bench warrant and was subsequently charged with bail jumping in the third degree, a misdemeanor.

Aggravated Harassment

Theodore F. Dratch, 33, of Southampton was arrested Wednesday at 8:25 p.m. and charged with aggravated harassment in the second degree, a misdemeanor. Police said he made repeated attempts to communicate with a Southampton woman that he had been previously advised to refrain from contacting.

Driving While Intoxicated

Warren A. Elgort, 21, of New York City was arrested Thursday at 2:10 a.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. 

Drug Possession

Scott Partelow, 51, of Bridgehampton, was arrested Sunday at 12:21 a.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal possession of marihuana in the fifth degree, both misdemeanors. Police said officers observed him smoking marijuana in public. 

A 16-year-old girl from Miller Place was arrested Sunday at 11:36 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor. Police said she was found to be in possession of two hydrocodone pills.
