Village Police Log: Driver Lied About Identity, Cops Say

Criminal Impersonation
• Daniel Joseph Raggi, 24, of Centereach, was arrested Feb. 21 at 9:44 a.m. and charged with criminal impersonation in the second degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, both misdemeanors, as well as unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was processed and released after posting $200 bail, police said.

Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument
• Juan J. Atancuri, 51, of New York City, was arrested Feb. 24 at 11:40 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a misdemeanor. He was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
