Village Police Log: 5 DWI Arrests in 3 Weeks

Also in the Southampton Village police files, a man with a suspended licensed is turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Arrest reports in Southampton Village for March 6 to March 26:

Driving While Intoxicated

• Susan F. Herman, 58, of Southampton, was arrested March 17 at 10:34 p.m and charged with felony DWI, according to police. Police said they stopped Herman while she was driving a 1992 Chevrolet on Pine Street for not being able to keep her vehicle on the roadway. Upon further investigation, she was placed under arrest, police said. A computer check revealed that Herman had two previous convictions for DWI within the past 10 years, police said. Her vehicle was seized as per the Suffolk County Vehicle Seizure Law and she was held overnight for arraignment, police said.

• Donald J. Wansor Jr., 51, of Sagaponack, was arrested March 18 at approximately 11:34 p.m. and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, according to police. Police said they stopped Wansor while he was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero  eastbound on County Road 39 for multiple vehicle and traffic violations. Upon further investigation, he was arrested, police said. He was held overnight for arraignment.

• Kierin Marsicoverere, 21, of East Quogue, was arrested March 10 at 3:40 p.m. and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, according to police. Police said they stopped Marsicovetere while she was driving a 2009 Suzuki. Upon further investigation, she was arrested and charged, police said.

• Leslie S. Ojea, 40, of Water Mill was arrested March 23 at approximately 6:48 p.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, according to police. Police said they were called to the scene of a two-car motor vehicle accident on Railroad Plaza. Upon further investigation, Ojea was arrested, police said.  She was processed and later admitted to Southampton Hospital for complaints of chest pain, according to police.

• Ingrid J. Cardona, 21, of East Hampton, was arrested March 26 at approximately 12:15 a.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor and harassment in the second degree, a violation, according to police. Police said they stopped Cardona while she was driving a 1998 Nissan Maxima on North Sea Road for multiple vehicle and traffic violations. Upon further investigation and while being placed under arrest, Cardona shoved police and attempted to walk away, police said. She was subdued and taken into custody, police said.  She was processed and held for morning arraignment.

Immigration Warrant

• Luis F. Munoz-Villacis, 34, of East Hampton, was arrested March 17 at approximately 8:51 a.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor. Police said he had an outstanding detainer from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and was processed and turned over to ICE.
