Village Police Log: 2 Picked Up on DWI Charges
Two nights in a row, police make a DWI arrest in predawn hours.

Recent arrests conducted by Southampton Village police:
Driving While Intoxicated
• Emily M Jerez, 21, of East Hampton, was stopped for a vehicle and traffic infraction April 20 around 3 a.m. and subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, according to police. Police said she was held for arraignment at Southampton Village Justice Court.
• Jose Rodrigo Ramirez, 19, of Southampton, was arrested April 21 at 3:31 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, police said. He was hold for morning arraignment.
