Two Charged With Assault
• Monet C. Levy, 20, of Southampton, was arrested Jan. 8 at 4:50 a.m. and charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor. A second woman, 18 years old, of Southampton, was charged with the same crime. Police said both women were in a fight with another woman at . Police withheld the name of the 18-year-old suspect.

Failure to Appear, Bail Jumping
• Anthony J. Miele, 45, of Ridge, was arrested Jan. 6 at 11:21 a.m. on an outstanding bench warrant dating back to 2007 for failure to appear, according to police. Additionally, he was charged with bail jumping in the third degree, a misdemeanor.

DWI
• Robert M. Archer, 68, of Southampton, was arrested Jan. 6 at 8:11 p.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they received a call from a motorist of an erratic driver and stopped Archer while he was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse northbound on North Sea Road. He was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
