Victim of Noyac Road Rollover Airlifted to Hospital

Traffic detoured for about an hour Monday morning.

A victim of a rollover accident in Noyac on the morning of Memorial Day was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, though the extent of the victim's injuries is unclear at this time, according to police.

Southampton Town Police Sgt. John Boden said town police officers and Sag Harbor firefighters reponded to a single-vehicle crash on Noyac Road at 10:30 a.m. Traffic was detoured around the accident scene for about an hour. Boden said emergency personnell cleared the scene at about 11:30 a.m.
