Town Police: 3 TVs Stolen from Hotel

Larceny
The front desk manager of on County Road 39 in Southampton told police that sometime between 2 p.m. Oct. 24 and 10 a.m. Oct. 25 someone stole televisions worth $1,200 total from three motel rooms. Police are investigating.

A 55-year-old man from Water Mill told police that sometime between 2 p.m. Oct. 23 and 9 a.m. Oct. 27 someone took his Starcraft aluminum boat, another boat and a motor, together worth $1,600, from his property on Maple Avenue in Flanders. Police are investigating.
An 81-year-old man from Southampton told police that sometime between Oct. 22 and Friday someone stole two Adirondack chairs worth $800 from his Southampton home on Landing Lane. The chairs were on his deck and police are investigating.

DWI
Yuri Vasquez, 23, of Hampton Bays, was arrested Sunday at 2:46 a.m. on North Road in Southampton and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Vasquez was stopped for speeding when police discovered that she appeared intoxicated, according to documentation.
Stalking
Retired Suffolk County police officer Paul Denkewitz, 44, of Nesconset, was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 1 a.m. at his home on Nottingham Court in Nesconset and charged with fourth-degree stalking, a misdemeanor.
Leaving the Scene
A passing car driver called police about a 1993 maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee driven into a tree on the corner of North and Peconic roads Oct. 24 at 7:35 a.m. Police were unable to contact the owner or driver, and there were no witnesses. Police impounded the car.
