Town Police Reports: DWIs on North Sea Road

Southampton and Long Beach man arrested in separate incidents.

Arrest reports from the Southampton Town Police Department for east of the Shinnecock Cancel between April 21 and April 28:

Driving While Intoxicated

• Kenneth Huneken, 59, of Southampton, was arrested on April 21 and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.  

According to police reports, Hunuken was involved in a car accident around 9:50 p.m. on North Sea Road, and when police arrived, it was determined he was driving drunk. He was also cited for allegedly driving without an inspection and moving from his lane unsafely.

• Livio Gregorio, 35, of Long Beach, was arrested on April 27 and charged with DWI. According to police reports, Gregorio failed to maintain his lane of travel while driving on North Sea Road around 3:15 a.m.   

Police said that when he was stopped, Gregorio had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests. He was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, a violation.
