Town Police Report: Teens Reportedly Trespass on Auto Yard

Also this week, DWI charges on County Road 39.

DWI

• Fredy Angeles-Cruz, 30, of East Hampton, was arrested on May 12 and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. According to police reports, Angeles-Cruz was stopped on County Road 39, near Hubbard Lane around 7:30 p.m. for failing to maintain his lane of travel. Police said he had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, bloodshot eyes and performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests. He was also cited for moving from his lane unsafely.

• Kevin Fennell, 52, of Hampton Bays, was arrested on May 11 and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.   

According to police reports, Fennell got in a car crash on County Road 39 near N. Bishops Lane, and police noticed a smell of alcohol on his breath upon arrival. Police said his eyes were glossy, his speech slurred, and he failed several roadside field sobriety tests. He was also cited for failing to use his designated lane.

• Jorge Martinez, 28, of Central Islip, was arrested on May 12 on charges of DWI, a misdemeanor. According to police, Martinez was driving eastbound on County Road 39 in Tuckahoe around 3:30 a.m. when police said they saw him swerve from his lane twice. Police reports state that while attempting to pull him over, Martinez stopped in a left turn lane and later drove over a curb before coming to stop. He was also cited for moving from his lane unsafely, refusing a breath test and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

• Konrad Wroblewski, 19, of Southampton, and a Hampton Bays minor were arrested on May 10 after police said they were trespassing at an auto salvage yard in the middle of the night.   

According to police reports, the duo was found in the fenced in area at JT Auto Salvage in Quiogue around 12:51 a.m., and had no permission to be on the property They were arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.
