Town Police Log: Two Charged with DWI
The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
Southampton Town police arrest reports for June 21 through June 27:
DWI
Ronald Buchter, 63, of Southampton was arrested Friday at 10:23 p.m. on the corner of Montauk Highway and Atterbury Road in Southampton and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Buchter was stopped for driving out of lane, police said.

Martin Orduna, 39, of Hampton Bays was arrested Sunday at 2:24 a.m. on the corner of Noyac Road and Roses Grove Road in Noyac and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Orduna drove out of lane.

Menacing
A 49-year-old freelance photographer from Brooklyn told Southampton Town Police that while he was working at a party in Noyac on June 18 at 5:30 p.m. he got into a verbal fight with a guest, who then confronted him and threatened him in the backyard with a kitchen knife. Police are investigating.
