Town Police Log: Sag Harbor Man Charged with DWI in Noyac

Police say 25-year-old man was pulled over for speeding and failed a breath test.

Carlos a. Perez-Avalos, 25, of Sag Harbor was arrested in Noyac on Feb. 22 at around 9:41 p.m. and charged with DWI. Police said he was pulled over for speeding and failed a pre-screening breath test. He was additionally charged with exceeding the posted speed limit and being an unlicensed operator.

Charges are merely accusations. Defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. A name will only be removed if the accused has been acquitted and can provide a certificate of disposition. Contact the editor to make such a request.
