Town Police Log: Man Damaged Ex's Car

The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

reports for the week of Aug. 22 through Aug. 29:

Criminal Mischief

Roberto Dezubiria, 36, of Southampton was arrested Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at police headquarters in Hampton Bays and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony. Police said Dezubiria admitted to damaging his ex-girlfriend’s car at  parking lot on County Road 39 in Southampton earlier in the day.

Driving While Intoxicated

Wellington Barrios, 34, of Southampton was arrested Friday at 1:26 a.m. at the corner of County Road 39 and Henry Road in Hampton Bays and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Barrios was stopped for driving out of lane when they discovered he was intoxicated.

Kathryn Mullane, 41, of Bridgehampton was arrested Aug. 24 at 12:01 a.m. at the corner of State Route 114 and Fresh Pond Road in North Haven and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Mullane was stopped for driving out of lane when an officer discovered she was intoxicated, police said.

Forged Instrument

Jaime Milian, 26, of Riverhead was arrested Aug. 23 at 1:40 p.m. at the corner of County Road 39 and Inlet Road East in Southampton and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Police said Milian was stopped for speeding when police discovered he had a forged Pennsylvania’s drivers license.
