Town Police Log: Five Charged with DWI
The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
arrest reports for the week of Aug. 1 through Aug. 9, for east of the Shinnecock Canal:
DWI
Katherine Gallagher, 33, of Manhattan was arrested Sunday at 5 a.m. on the corner of Old Sag Harbor and Noyac roads in North Sea and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Gallagher was in a minor car accident, police said.

Peter Lecompte, 50, of Southampton was arrested Friday at 2:44 a.m. on the corner of Noyac Road and Warfield Way in North Sea and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony. Police said Lecompte was stopped for speeding and they then discovered that he had been drinking, as well as had a suspended license for a prior alcohol-related offense.
Kelly Meighan, 24, of Sag Harbor was arrested Sunday at 9:39 p.m. on the corner of State Route 114 and Tyndall Road in North Haven and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Meighan hit a fire hydrant, flipped her car over and was then transported to for minor injuries.

Daniel Peuscovich, 37, of Manhattan was arrested Sunday at 4:17 a.m. at the corner of County Road 39 and North Magee Street in Southampton and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Peuscovich was stopped for not using his turn signal.
Emmanuel Medina, 43, of Southampton was arrested Wednesday, August 3 at 1:51 a.m. at the corner of Ridge Road and Montauk Highway in Southampton and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Medina was in a car accident, suffered minor injuries, and then was transported to Southampton Hospital, police said.
Driving Without Interlock Device
Michael Connor, 51, of Selden was arrested July 28 at 2:12 p.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Highway westbound and North Road in Southampton and charged with circumventing the interlock device in his car, a misdemeanor. Police said they stopped Connor for speeding when they discovered he was not properly using the court-ordered device that monitors blood alcohol content.
Criminal Contempt
Lewis Blydenburgh, 59, of Southampton was arrested Friday at 11:57 p.m. at his home on North Sea Road and charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony. Police said Blydenburgh got into a verbal argument with his wife, who has an order of protection against him. Blydenburgh also pushed his wife to the ground, police said.
