Town Police Log: Bridgehampton Man Charged with Burglary and Larceny

Raymond J. O’Brien, 31, of Bridgehampton was arrested Wednesday at police headquarters in Hampton Bays and charged with burglary in the second degree, grand larceny in the third degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree. Police said O’Brien was arrested following an investigation into a June 18, 2010, larceny and April 12, 2011, burglary. The burglary was on North Sea Mecox Road in North Sea, during which a nine millimeter rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun were taken, police said. The larceny occurred on Lockwood Avenue in Bridgehampton, during which a $6,000 bracelet was taken, police said.
