Town Police Log: $5,000 in Copper Stolen

• The 49-year-old owner of TRM Enterprises on Maple Lane in Bridgehampton told police that sometime before Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. someone stole $5,000 in scrap copper from containers located at the back of his business. Copper is also missing from inside the shop, he said. Police are investigating and will use security cameras in the shop in the investigation.

• A 51-year-old Bronx man told police that sometime between 2 p.m. Oct. 7 and 2 p.m. Friday someone stole a 1991 white Mercury parked in the driveway of his Cove Avenue East home in Sag Harbor. Police are investigating.
