Thefts Reported at The Bentley

Expensive items stolen from Southampton hotel.

Nearly $6,000 worth of personal property was stolen from , a posh hotel on Hill Station Road in Southampton Saturday, according to police incident reports.

A 22-year-old woman from Hampton Bays told police that around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, while she was at The Bentley’s pool, she discovered that her wallet was missing from her beach bag. Later, she found it in the bathroom, but her credit cards and IDs were gone. Her $300 Michael Kors watch was also missing, as were her two iPhones, the incident report stated.

Later that same day, a 25-year-old man from Manhattan told police that someone stole a $4,000 5D Canon camera from a poolside table.

Police have no leads but are investigating, according to documents.

A receptionist at The Bentley said that she was not aware of the event.
