Southampton Town Court, Transfer Stations Closed Through Tuesday

Hurricane Sandy impacts services.

Currently in a state of emergency, the town of Southampton has announced that some services will be shut down through Tuesday.

The Southampton Town Justice Court closed down early on Monday at noon, and it will remain closed on Tuesday.

Southampton Village Justice Court canceled all court appearances Monday.

The town's four waste transfer stations and recycling centers, in Westhampton, Sag Harbor, Hampton Bays and North Sea, were shut down Monday and will remain closed Tuesday.

Local school districts are closed Monday, and will be closed Tuesday as well.
