DWI
• On Aug. 3 Southampton Town police charged Gerardo Rojas-Martinez, 23, of Bridgehampton, with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they pulled Rojas-Martinez over on Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays at about 9:00 p.m. after he swerved. Police said they found an open can of Modelo beer in his car.
• Police charged Joseph Postilli, 46, of Canisteo, N.Y. with DWI, a misdemeanor, on Aug. 3 after they pulled him over on Montauk Highway in Southampton at 11 p.m. Police said he was driving without headlights. Postilli was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, after they found Percocet in his possession.

• A 23-year-old passenger in a car pulled over on Ocean Road in Bridgehampton was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, on Aug. 3, after police said they pulled the car over for failing to stop at a stop sign. Police said they found Clonazepam pills and a joint.
