Town Police Log: Memorial Day Weekend DWI and Drug Arrests
Police kept busy during holiday weekend.

Southampton Town arrest reports for east of the Shinnecock Canal through May 28:
Driving While Intoxicated
• On May 26, police charged Brian Zeh, 45, of Southampton, with DWI, a misdemeanor, after he reportedly crossed the double yellow line on North Sea Road in Southampton. Zeh was additionally charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle/alcohol-related in the first degree, a felony, as well as aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree unlawful fleeing from a police officer, and reckless driving, all misdemeanors. Police seized his car under the Suffolk County seizure law.
• Nadezda Gallagher, 28, of Brooklyn, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, on Sunday. Police said he was initially pulled over on Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton for making an illegal U-turn.
• Elizabeth Kritzer, 56, of North Sea, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, after she was pulled over for speeding on Noyac Road in Noyac on Monday, according to an arrest report. Police said she also refused to submit to a breath test.
Driving Impaired by Drugs
• Otto Eckstein, 20, of New York City, was arrested May 27 and charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Police pulled the man over on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton for moving from a lane unsafely.
Criminal Contempt
• Corina Debellis, 45, of Southampton, was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a felony, after police said she violated a family court order of protection on Thursday. She was further charged with harassment in the second degree, a violation.
Assault
• Costa Carlaftes, 45, of Bellmore, was charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor, after he was involved in a fight at Trata Restaurant in Water Mill on Monday, according to an arrest report. Police said the victim suffered a cut above his left eye.
