Sag Harbor Police Log: Woman Charged With DWI on Main Street

Driving While Intoxicated

• Christie L. Hagerman, 46, of Sag Harbor, was arrested Dec. 11 at 6:35 p.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and an equipment violation. Police said Hagerman was driving a 2007 Hummer on Main Street with a broken tail lamp when she was pulled over. According to the arrest report, Hagerman's breath smelled strongly of alcohol, her eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and she had slurred speech and an unsteady gait. Hagerman performed poorly on sobriety tests and failed a prescreen breath test, police said.

Take the CAR AWAY!!! Red flag all Ins companies and the DMV, so she cannot get another car on the road. If anyone loans her a car then and she is BUSTED again then the one who loaned er the car gets severely FINED I mean SEVERELY so they remember never to loan her their car again....You abuse it You lose it!!!! To many deaths on the roads to many tax dollars for trials, It is a Privledge to driveTo abuse it is to lose it.....

They now have vehicles that in order to start the car the need to breathe in a Breathalyzer. If they fail the car doesn't start. That is what they need to do to people being pulled over for DWI's.

Totally agree. What a CHUD. 6:35 on a Tuesday - DRUNK AS A SKUNK. WHAT GARBAGE !!
