Sag Harbor Police Log: U-Turn Leads to Aggravated DWI Arrest
Another DWI arrest on Main Street comes after a car accident.

Driving While Intoxicated
• Justin M. Sullivan, 51, of Manhattan, was arrested Dec. 22 at 12:07 a.m. on Main Street and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor and failure to keep right, a traffic infraction. Police said Sullivan was driving a 2008 BMW southbound on Main Street when he made an illegal U-turn. According to the arrest report, when he was pulled over his breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage, his eyes were glassy, his speech was slurred, he was unsteady on his feet and he failed a breath test. He was held for morning arraigning in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court.

• Juliette B. Parker, 60, of East Hampton, was arrested Dec. 23 at 6:14 p.m. on Main Street and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, as well as failure to produce a driver's license and making an unsafe lane change, both vehicle and traffic violations. Police said Parker was driving a 1996 Ford on Main Street when she was involved in a car accident. According to the arrest report, the responding officer interviewed Parker and observed she smelled of an alcoholic beverage, her speech was slurred, her eyes were bloodshot and she has an unsteady gait. She performed poorly on sobriety tests, was placed under arrest and held for morning arraignment, police said.
