Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs

• Christopher R. Caravello, 23, of Shirley, was arrested May 28 at 5:14 a.m. and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, both misdemeanors, as well as parking violations and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police said Caravello stopped a 1998 Dodge Omnibus Taxi in the middle of Sage Street and stood outside to urinate. Police said he had bloodshot and glassy eyes and was in possession of a bag of marijuana, small joint and pipe.
