State Cops Arrest 4 for Possession of Marijuana

The State Police in Riverhead have arrested four people for unlawful possession of marijuana in four unique and unconnected incidents.

On June 10, 2014, on Riverleigh Avenue in Riverside, Victoria Digngi, 21, of East Quogue was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt and found to be in possession of marijuana. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Southampton Town Court.

On June 10, 2014, on State Route 27, Jordan Ward, 18, of Levittown was stopped for speeding and was found to be in unlawful possession of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Southampton Town Court.

On June 13, 2014 on State Route 27 in Eastport, William MacDougal, 48, of Riverhead, was arrested for DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana. MacDougal was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 27 in Eastport for operating a vehicle while on a cell phone. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Southampton Town Court.
