Town Police Log: DWI; Criminal Mischief

Driving While Intoxicated

• Marilyn Worlds, 38, of Southampton, was arrested April 21 and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, after she was pulled over on Sunrise Highway and Flanders Road in Hampton Bays at 10:42 p.m. Worlds was additionally charged with speeding, moving unsafely from a lane, improper use of signaling, and improperly tinted windows, all traffic violations.

Criminal Possession of Stolen Property

• Stanley Kruszeski, 58, of Southampton, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, on April 20 at 7:55 p.m. Kruszeski was handed over to the custody of Southampton Town police by New York State troopers. Police did not have any additional information about the details of the allegedly stolen property.

Criminal Mischief

• Scott Eberle, 41, of Southampton, was charged on April 20 at 8:46 p.m. with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, during a verbal dispute at a home in Hampton Bays during which police said Eberle broke a woman's cell phone, preventing her from calling for help.

Burglary

• J.R. Hires, 27, of Bridgehampton, was arrested April 21 at 9:52 p.m. in Southampton and charged with second-degree burglary, a felony. Hires was additionally charged with criminal obstruction of breath and blood and unlawful imprisonment, both misdemeanors.
