Police: George Guldi's $15,000 Piano Reported Stolen
Brother of disgraced former lawmaker discovers piano is missing, according to the incident report.
A $15,000 Steinway grand piano belonging to former Suffolk lawmaker George Guldi, who is currently for , was reported stolen last Monday, according to .
Guldi's brother, Gregory Guldi, reported the piano missing and identified a suspect to police. According to the incident report, the piano was stolen between March 18, when George Guldi last saw it, and May 16, when Gregory Guldi discovered it missing from 52 Sandy Hollow Rd in Southampton. Gregory Guldi is reportedly acting as caretaker while his brother is incarcerated.
Police said the matter may be a civil dispute, but detectives are investigating.
