Police Charge East Hampton Woman With DWI In Bridgehampton

Police arrested several on drunken driving charges this week.

The following arrests were reported by the Southampton Town Police Department and New York State Troopers over the past week. A charge is an accusation. Defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.


  • New York State Police arrested Alexander Cisar, 26, of Millsbrough, Ill. on Nov. 2 on a drunken driving charge. According to police, Cisar was stopped on a routine traffic ticket while driving on Montauk Highway in Southampton. Cisar was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest. He was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and is due back in town court on Nov. 6.  
  • New York State Police arrested Bryan Tapia, 24, of Southampton, on a drunken driving charge after he was initially stopped for a traffic violation on Nov. 3. According to police, Tapia was driving on County Road 39 in Southampton, just west of North Sea Road when he was stopped. He was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and is due back in town court on Nov. 18.


  • Robin Jones, 29, of East Hampton, was arrested on Nov. 1 on a drunken driving charge in Bridgehampton. According to police, Jones was seen stopped on the Brigehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike and Scuttlehole Road in a 1999 Mercedes Benz at around 2:45 a.m. When police questioned her they said she appeared to be intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that Jones had an outstanding bench warrant for failing to pay a fine for an aggravated unlicensed operation ticket she received in 2010. Jones was taken into custody and is charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.
