Noyac Accident Calls Out Medevac Chopper

Emergency personnel report two patients after a crash on Noyac Road.

A Medevac helicopter is landing at Long Beach in Sag Harbor following an accident on Noyac Road early Thursday afternoon.

Information about the accident, which happened at the intersection of Mill Road, was not immediately available. It occurred around 12:15 p.m.

The Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance Corps requested a patient be airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, and also asked for an Advanced Life Support provider from Southampton Volunteer Ambulance to the scene of the accident.

A second ambulance was also requested to the scene. The Bridgehampton Fire Department ambulance responded as the on-duty tactical ambulance for Thursday.

The Sag Harbor Fire Department and Southampton Town police also responded.
