Southampton Fire Draws 3 Fire Departments; No Injuries Reported
Fire occurred shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday.
Three local fire departments responded early Sunday morning to a fire at a home off North Sea Road in Southampton that resulted in no injuries.
According to Capt. Chris Brenner, public information officer for Southampton Fire Department, Southampton and responded to the scene of the fire - located on Hampton Street off North Sea Road - while Hampton Bays F.D. provided a Rapid Intervention Team. North Sea Fire Department was held on standby at the Windmill Lane firehouse.
Brenner said the fire was under control in roughly 20 minutes, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the town's fire marshal. The call came in just before 3:00 a.m.
