Missing Southampton Man Surfaces in Oregon

A 51-year-old North Sea resident who was reported missing by his family has shown up in Oregon, according to police.

In a statement issued Friday night at 9:32, Southampton Town police said Timothy R. White, upon hearing that he was listed as a missing person, visited a local police agency in Oregon to present himself.

His family became concerned Tuesday when he did not return home from work in the evening as he normally would, police said. On Wednesday, the family reported him missing.

Police said they will take no further action.
