Manhattan Woman Arrested On DWI Charge

Also, another Manhattan woman is accused of stealing from the King Kullen in Bridgehampton.

The following arrests were reported by the Southampton Town Police Department and New York State Troopers east of the Shinnecock Canal over the past week. A charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Southampton

  • Kathryn L. Zuckerman, 30, of Manhattan, was arrested by state police on a drunken driving charge on Sept. 21. According to police, Zuckerman was initially stopped for speeding on Sunrise Highway in Southampton, but was found to be intoxicated. She was arrested and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor and is due back in Southampton Town Court on Sept. 30.

  • A 66-year-old woman from Manhattan was arrested on Sept. 20 on a charge of petty larceny, a misdemeanor. Police said the woman was caught stealing groceries worth $34.43 from the King Kullen in Bridgehampton at around 12:45 p.m. The security officer on duty at the grocery store claimed he saw her stealing the merchandise and detained her until police arrived.
